India, 2012

Angus Pryor and a collection of profound artists from the South East of England are set to take India by storm this November with their new exhibition "Critical Narratives in Colour and Form". The show, which is being held at the New Habitat Centre, New Delhi, will provide audiences with a celebration of work by British post-conceptual practitioners.

Artists exhibiting include Angus Pryor, William Henry, Mark Howland, Aya Mouri, Mavernie Cunningham, Chris Hunt and Jez Giddings – all of whom will be displaying their own style of artwork.

Angus Pryor, exhibition curator said "It is fantastic to have such an array of well renowned artists coming together to exhibit in such a phenomenal location. This exhibition examples part of a broader exploration of how received and inherited ideas, forms and narratives have been hybridised and developed in the UK and elsewhere around the world".

As well as displaying a variety of different pieces of work from the post modern era, "Critical Narratives in Colour and Form" also mediates a shared engagement with the idioms of modernism, abstractions and figuration with particular reference to examples of contemporary painting and paint making.

"Critical Narratives in Colour and Form" will be taking place in the Visual Gallery, The New Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi from Tuesday 27th November until Friday 30th November 2012.
